Seeking adventures close to home
I feel so blessed to call Washington my home. I have always had a thirst for adventures that take me far from home but there is nothing quite like spending the day in the great outdoors and sleeping in your own bed. South Sound residents are particularly lucky having a National Park to our East and West each about an hour’s driving distance.
There are so many guidebooks on things to do in this wonderful state but when it comes to the South Sound, most will list the same four or five things. That fueled my inspiration to find and curate on this site the many adventures that can be had.
Most of the adventures here are pretty easy and can be enjoyed by almost anyone.
